Welcome to KAFI Foundation

KAFI Foundation is a global movement to Kick Against Financial Illiteracy. This is a movement dedicated to building financially empowered individuals, resilient communities, and visionary leaders. Through our integrated programs in financial literacy, leadership development, and entrepreneurship, we inspire people to live purposefully, create opportunities, and lead positive change in their societies.

Our Core Initiatives

1. KAFI Hub – Grooming Young Leaders for Global Financial Literacy

KAFI Hub is the leadership and training arm of KAFI Foundation, designed to equip young people (18–35 years) through KAFI Financial Literacy Leadership Fellowship (FLLF) with the skills, confidence, and vision to lead the financial literacy movement globally.

Through structured tiers, participants progress and take up leadership roles within the network:

  • Foundation Level: Introduction to financial literacy and leadership basics.
  • Alumni: Graduates who continue their leadership journey and mentorship.
  • Mentor: Experienced leaders guiding new fellows and facilitating growth.
  • Country Coordinators: Oversee National financial literacy networks.
  • Continental Coordinators: Lead and align regional and global initiatives.

2. KAFI Club – Building the Next Generation of Financially Smart Students

KAFI Clubs are established in schools and communities to nurture financial discipline, entrepreneurship, and leadership among young people. Through fun and interactive learning activities, students develop essential life skills such as budgeting, saving, teamwork, and goal-setting.

Each KAFI Club is guided by trained leaders and supported with innovative learning materials from the KAFI Kit.

3. KAFI Tribe – Empowering Women and Communities

KAFI Tribe is a global empowerment initiative under KAFI Foundation that focuses on empowering women and communities through financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and cooperative models.

We believe that when women and communities are financially empowered, the effect transforms families, economies, and future generations.
Through workshops, mentorship, and access to financial tools, KAFI Tribe fosters inclusion, confidence, and economic independence.

4. KAFI Kits – Resources to enhance Financial Literacy

The KAFI Kit provides practical tools to make financial learning engaging and effective. It includes:
-  Savings Boxes
-  Financial Literacy Textbooks
-  KAFI Financial Literacy Board Game
- T-Shirts & Face Caps
- Digital resources including Ebooks, etc
These kits are used across our clubs, schools, and training programs to bring financial education to life.

5. Our Impact

Since its inception, KAFI Foundation has:

- Trained and mentored over 10,000 youth leaders, educators, and women.
- Established financial literacy clubs across multiple countries.
- Supported grassroots community projects led by young changemakers.
- Partnered with schools and institutions to integrate financial education into learning systems.
